PHD Bass Guitars are handmade by Parizad Hatcher. Maple necks with 1st grade Macassar Ebony fingerboards are standard. Body woods include Ash, Mahogany, or Walnut. All basses come with a Satin finish. Upgraded Top woods are available upon request and subject to availability.
Fingerboards have 24 Frets and include glow in the dark side dots that are white when not illuminated. All electronics are made in U.S.A by Nordstrand, Bartolini or EMG. Standard Basses are active with Bartolini or Nordstrand onboard preamp and Piezo upgrade is available. Black or chrome Hipshot bridges and tuners come standard with available gold hardware upgrade. current estimated finish time is 4-5 months.
